Recover Stronger, Sleep Better

Whether you're training hard, staying active, or just trying to feel your best, recovery is an important part of the process. That's where our Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate comes in.

Each ounce is made from about 90 to 120 Montmorency cherries, grown in the U.S. and packed with antioxidants that help reduce muscle soreness and support joint health. It's a simple, natural way to help athletes' bodies recover after tough workouts.

Tart cherries also contain naturally occurring melatonin, which can support better sleep by helping you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. Better rest means better performance, both in and out of the gym.

Mix it into your post-workout drink, take it in the evening, or make it part of your daily routine. Your body and your sleep schedule will thank you.

Montmorency Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate:

  • Has been shown to be beneficial for cycling athletes by enhancing muscle oxygenation by the vasoactive properties of the cherry polyphenol content of this juice.[[1]]
  • Is rich in anthocyanins and flavonoids that have a protective effect against inflammation and lipid peroxidation caused by intense exercise; therefore, it may reduce exercise-induced muscle damage and enhance recovery of muscle function after exercise.[[2]]
  • Can reduce systolic blood pressure and could aid in the management of hypertension.[[3]]
  • Contains numerous phytochemicals including anthocyanins, flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol, and isoramnetin), flavonols (catechin, epicatechin), gallic acid equivalents, procyanidins, and phenolic acids, which can lessen muscle damage, reduce levels of pain, and improve recovery in athletes.[[4]]
  • Should be consumed twice a day, 1 oz. per serving, for 4 to 5-days as a loading phase before events and 2 to 3 days post to promote recovery.[[5]]
  • Can improve both strength and endurance exercise after the adaptation phases.[[5]]
  • Anthocyanins appear to peak in the blood approximately 2-hours post-ingestion and clear by 8-hours. Timing in athletes would suggest multiple doses a day, with a pre-race 1 oz. dose about 2 hours before competition.[[6]]
  • Reduces blood markers of inflammation and muscle damage such as interleukin-6, C-reactive protein (CRP) and uric acid, indicating less strenuous effects of exercise.[[7]]
  • Reduces delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) which can help an athlete return to training and/or competition faster.[[8]]
  • Contains 100% U.S. Montmorency Tart Cherries, where 1 oz. of concentrate contains approximately 90-120 cherries, making drinking this beverage more applicable for athletes than eating that quantity of fruit.[[9]][[10]]
  • Inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 and cyclooxygenase-2 enzymes and may play a potential role in the management of fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis.[[11]]
  • Supplemented twice a day has been shown to increase melatonin levels in individuals and increases overall time in bed, total sleep time, and sleep efficiency.[[12]]
